During the siege of Dubrovnik (1991–1992), the club and its members played a vital role in the city's defense and survival. In a period of total information isolation, radio amateurs were the only link between Dubrovnik and the rest of the world.

Key Contributions:

* Breaking the Blockade: Following the destruction of the Srđ transmitter, our members
maintained continuous radio links, transmitting thousands of humanitarian messages and providing critical reports on the city's situation.

* Logistical Support: Using their expertise and equipment, club members helped establish essential communication networks for defense forces and civil services, including the
hospital and the Red Cross.

* Radio Intelligence: Members actively monitored aggressor frequencies, providing invaluable data for the defense of the Dubrovnik region.

This period remains the most significant chapter in our history, demonstrating how technical
skill and volunteerism became a lifeline for our community during its most difficult hours.
