9AFF Projekt Log Search

In promoting Project Croatian Flora Fauna, through ham radio participation by activators & hunters, the Radio Club Croatian Flora Fauna has, in collaboration with Croatian Water Authority Hrvatske vode, established a CROATIAN FLORA and FAUNA On The Air program.(Note: All Plaques and Awards are free-of-charge and delivered to winners as post-paid by Radio Club Croatian Flora Fauna!).
An Annual 9AFF Award (Program) will be issued to the most successful FF activators and hunters during one calendar year, in their two respective categories.
Special merits shall be credited to activation of, or contact with so-called water area, a spot predominantly attributed as 'waters', duly highlighted on the list.
All 9AFF contacts are valid for credits, not just activated/worked once, with score points from the table below.

Awards shall be issued in two categories: activators and hunters, according to the following rules:


1. ACTIVATORS

1.2. ANNUAL 9AFF PLAQUE shall be awarded to the best foreign activator (ie., outside of 9A) with top score from the above list.
1.3.
ANNUAL 9AFF (paper) Award shall be issued to foreign activators, ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
1.4.
ANNUAL 9AFF (electronic) Award shall be issued to all other activators below 4th place.
1.5. If tied (two or more activators with the same number of activated areas), the plaque winner is the activator with highest number of contacts made.
1.6. If certain 9AFF reference area is activated by several activators using one single call sign, wishing to be recognized as single, individual activation, then such activators need to establish the following number of QSOs:

Number of activators in the group
Minimmum of QSOs from each 9AFF references
One activator's call sign
(Club or one home call)

1.7. Preservation 'waters' area shall be deemed activated only if 9AFF Program Rules shall have been applied and followed.
1.6. Participation and sending of activator's log (ADIF format), is welcome by 10 January next year at latest to email florafauna@inet.hr

2. HUNTERS (and SWL)

2.1. ANNUAL 9AFF PLAQUE shall be awarded to the best foreign hunter (outside of 9A) with highest scores from the score table. (Use application form for chasers, please!)
2.2. ANNUAL 9AFF PLAQUE shall be awarded to the best SWL hunter, with highest scores from the score table. (Use application form for SWL, please!)
2.3. ANNUAL 9AFF Award shall be issued to hunters (and SWL), ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
2.4. ANNUAL 9AFF (electronic) Award shall be issued to ALL other chasers and SWLs below 4th place.
2.5. One 9AFF reference can be used several times, but not from the same activation.
2.6. New: Award requests you can send via web form

3. CLOSING RULES

3.1. Definition of hunters and activators in these Rules apply to one or more operators, using one single call sign.
3.2. Time frame for the activities from these Rules is the calendar year.
3.3. Any details, not set forth in these Rules, shall be applied from 9AFF Program.
3.4. Each separate application for recognition from CROATIAN FLORA and FAUNA On The Air program should be sent to the following postal address: Radioklub Hrvatska Flora Fauna, HR-10000 Zagreb, Lastovska 14 or via email florafauna(at)inet.hr by 31 January, next year at latest.
3.5. Integral parts of these Rules are the following documents: (1) 9AFF Areas List, (2) Activator Form, (3) Hunter Form, (4) SWL Form and (5) 'How to Apply' Samples.
3.6. All awards (plaque, diploma) from CROATIAN FLORA and FAUNA On The Air program are free-of-charge and delivered to winners as post-paid by Radio Club Croatian Flora Fauna.
3.7. Award Committee members: Franjo, 9A2MF (9AFF Award Manager), Radovan, 9A2SC (member of EB RC HFF) and Emir, 9A6AA (Club President).
