| Please note that there is an important discrepancy
with DXCC "continent" standards. CDG and EPC hold the opinion
that Europe includes all the Ural Mountains and the Greater Caucasus (not
least Mount Elbrus, which would be the highest point in Europe), while
the Lesser Caucasus are located entirely in Asia. Russia and Kazakhstan
have both European (western) and Asian (eastern) parts. The Turkish city
Istanbul lies in both Europe and Asia; effectively making it a transcontinental
city.
Six Russian (UA9) and three Kazakhstan's (UN) Areas are geographically located in Europe. These areas are: UA9A (ER53) - Chelyabinskaya Oblast (West of River Ural and Ural Range), UA9F (ER54) - Permskaya Oblast, UA9G (ER55) - Komi-Permyatsky AO, UA9S (ER56) - Orenburgskaya Oblast (West of River Ural), UA9W (ER57) - Bashkortostan (West of River Ural and Ural Range), UA9X (ER58) - Komi, UN7I (EK01) - Aqtobe Oblast (West of River Emba and Mugodzhary Range), UN7M (EK02) - West Kazakhstan (Batys Qazaqstan) Oblast and UN7O (EK03) - Atyrau Oblast (Northwest of River Emba) .QSL-cards are not required. Awards are issued to the person or club. The person or club can use any legal call sign. Contacts made from club stations or special event stations count to the credit of both the club and the operator. All stations must be operated in accordance with their licensing conditions. Contacts may be made from any location in the same DXCC country. Credit will be given for contacts made on any of the amateur bands below 30 MHz. Confirmations from the CDG and EPC Short Wave Listeners and Digital Monitoring Stations are accepted as confirmed contacts. All stations contacted must be "land based stations". Contacts with ships and boats, anchored or underway, and airborne aircraft, cannot be counted. For the purposes of this award, remote control operating points must also be land based. |

The submission for credit of any altered or forged log extractions or, equally, bad behaviour on or off the air which is judged by the Croatian Digital Group and European PSK Club to bring a particular programme into disrepute may result in disqualification of the applicant from the CDG Award Programme. The decision of the award manager on this and other matters of dispute will be finals. All awards are issued FREE of charge in a high quality PDF format and sent via email to the applicants. Awards could be printed with the highest quality and with optimal performance by applicants themselves. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. |
