Napaja se vodom iz nekoliko vrela na isto\u010dnoj obali. Nije izolirano od ve\u0107ih vodotokova. S Neretvom ga povezuju rijeke Crna rijeka i Mislina. Morske mijene Jadranskog mora tako\u0111er utje\u010du na ovo jezero.
